I wrote this post as a reminder for my self :).

Q: How do I change measurement units from US/British to metric in Excel?

A: Go to Windows control panel (mine is Windows XP), select “Regional and Language Options”. Under “Regional Options” tab, select “English (United States)” from the drop down menu, and then click the “Customize” button next to it. Then under “Numbers” tab, set “Measurement system” to Metric. By now, Excel will work under metric system.

Q: I need to specify the size of my chart in centimeter, so how do I precisely set chart size in Excel?

A: Press the CTRL button and then click on your chart. With your chart selected, then right click on it, and select “Format Object…” from the popup menu.
